bad news day

Postby Big Al on Sat Aug 29, 2009 9:58 pm

after only having my GPZ600r for a couple of months some fucker has just rear ended me :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x
heres how it happened
i am going up a hill and reach the brow where it flattens out , at the top 200yds away there is a set of traffic lights which are on red, a car stops just passed a keep clear road marking on the road, i stop just in front of this as a car is indicating to turn where the keep clear road marking is to let it turn into the petrol station
BANG some twat smacks into the back of the bike i hurtle into the air and the bike is thrown forward with the momentum and hits the car in front, meanwhile im in the air and land on the bonnet of the car i end up on the floor and scramble to the side of the road i get up but then sit back down as i now cannot breath the woman who is in the car which the bike had hit turns out to be a nurse (lucky or what ) she lays me down and keeps my head straight , also a ambulance on its way back to the hospital stops and have got one off those neck braces on in no time as i tell them my back is in agony,, a passing police car also stops and gets all the details from the the twat who hit me i here him tell the police its his fault "he just took his eyes of the road for a second " i feel like getting up and taking his eyes out for a second
i am then lifted onto a stretcher and off to hospital the hospitals only 1/4 mile away so im there in know time

after getting checked out i cant believe there are no broken bones, my neck is fine a bit a bruising on my leg but my chest feels like a 30st man as jumped up and down on it.this all happened today sat 29th aug at 4pm and im here now typing this and watching match of the day think this is the pain killers though and i sure tomorrow it will hurt like hell

bikes fucked i think, just glad it was not my KH400

I know a lot of people knock the NHS and police but they were spot on today
and im alive
but no work for me next week

RIDE SAFE GUYS
cheers al

Bad news indead mate, don't you find it strange now the driving test is 5 times harder but the standard of drivers is 5 times worse?

sorry to hear about that
your ok that's the main thing
I think it would be a good idea to make car drivers take the bike test and let them
see what its like to ride a bike in traffic
I've always said bike riders made better car drivers

Take care mate
