Hmm thats a 435 difference......mine is over 1700 earlier and 220 difference between numbers. But an ex Mark Hutton 69 that fetched £12650 !! at Bonhams back in 2011 (and I'm guessing that would be a matching nos bike for that sort of money !!) was just over 270 earlier than mine was 149 difference. A US 69 sold here in 2012 with frame no KAF 04846 had an engine KAE 04535 so thats a 311 difference. It would seem that there are ups and downs and no real continuity so I guess the manger 954 bike sold in the states in Feb is a matching nos bike :D . Now I wait for RB to shoot me down in flames

Just thought of something else ............when I got my 69 "project" from RB I got a doner bike which turns out to be a peacock gray 69 frame KAF 06752 so I did the right thing and sourced some early cases from the US .......06275 and Rick reckons they are almost spot on !!!! so thats a 477 difference. Z Power state that 70s bikes start KAF 06727 and KAE 06315 so its looking about right. :up
